Bundaberg Distilling Co is title sponsor of NRL Bundaberg Friday Night Football and Bundaberg Super Saturday Football. Bundaberg had an opportunity to leverage its association with the NRL and create a perceived association with the AFL.
Animo was commissioned to create a national promotion campaign for Bundaberg Rum focusing on coordinating the POS material with their 'Footy' branding strategy; to create excitement for the consumer that Footy's Back over 4 campaigns in key stages of the football season for both the NRL & AFL codes.

Each promotion offered different gifts with purchase and the design of the point of sale material was to reflect each stage of the Footy season. Animo created various point of sale pieces to support the promotion in store including a life size Bundy R Bear cutout for maximum cut-through in-store

Smirnoff is a global, youthful and vibrant brand that has grown to achieve leadership in the alcoholic drinks category through it's innovative products. Smirnoff Espresso, a bold new flavour with a twist, had been a major hit in overseas markets and Animo Design was commissioned to introduce Smirnoff Espresso into the Australian Market as an exclusive to The Woolworth's Group for the banner channels of BWS, WWL and Dan Murphy's.
The promotional point of sale was designed to introduce and educate existing Smirnoff lovers to the new flavour while enticing new consumers to try the new flavour twist. Backed with in-store sampling stations various point of sale material was developed for each banner while adhering to each banners brand guidelines while keeping on-brand. A key factor was to educate the consumer on how to mix this new flavour for which on shelf tear off cocktail recipe pads were designed and supplied.
Posters, wobblers, shelf talkers, neck-tags and sleeve units were all created to ensure maximum cut through in store to launch this new bold new product from Smirnoff.

Vacanza Pizzeria taps into all things natural with a hint of nostalgia.
Animo was commissioned to create & develop a brand and implement it throughout the marketing collateral. The visual identity needed to have a broad appeal to reflect the accessible price of the food. The restaurant should feel as much somewhere to go on a weeknight as a weekend or equally somewhere to go with a small or large group.
Our objective was to create an identity that had a casual, urban vibe to echo the atmosphere of the restaurant whilst clever attention to detail on pieces of collateral would reflect the traditional quality of the offering whilst not seeming too trendy & expensive. The brand needed to be strong and distinctive to become quickly recognisable on a small advertising budget and to enable it to be effectively applied across a wide range of collateral.
The name Vacanza was derived from the Italian word meaning vacation which was in keeping with the personality we wanted to create for the brand. The name was embraced and from the outset we developed a strategy that would differentiate Vacanza from the crowd. Vacanza took on the characteristics of a worldly travelled dynamic Brand.
Traditional Italian pizza making methods in a contemporary environment is what inspires Vacanza Pizzeria. The branding conveys this in every aspect. Creating a font to mimic a postcard from vacation gives the brand a unique feature, which is carried throughout the building and collateral. A secondary branding device was developed 'The Flying V' where the V was used as a postage stamp application to further enforce the feeling on being away from home.
The style, colour and dynamic of the graphics help to create a visually unique identity and provide the means through which to market the brand in an effortless yet impacting manner. This identity included a website, menu systems, promotional materials, interior graphics, and building signage.

A digital project for the world's leading luxury watch brand, Breitling. This promotional sales incentive site for Breitling retailers provided an online environment for retailers and their staff to participate and receive rewards.
The site needed to:
- Be consistent with existing brand material.
- Be fast and easy to use.
- Provide an engaging user experience.
- Encourage staff to log in regularly to make updates to sales data.
Our solution was an incentive site providing a central communication point to educate retailers on the Breitling brand and encourage its promotion to consumers was created. The theme was 'Race Against Time' designed around a countdown clock which counted down to the second till the competition closed. A personalised premium invitation was sent to each retailer and their staff directing them to the site to participate. Each salesperson could measure their results against the rest of the nation with fighter plane graphics showing the leader board.
Key activities carried out on the site included:
- Sales activity: Recording and submitting sales activity in return for miles.
- Track progress: Leader board to track progress against other retailers and individuals.
